Mr. Amfahr is a 1983 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he earned a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. in Engineering. He went to work at the Air Force Rocket Propulsion Laboratory where he conducted research on the computer modeling of high temperature solid and liquid rocket fuel. From there he went to work at Apple Computer in there system software group. He joined Apple's "Pink" team working on a next generation operating system written in C++. He became one of the original employees of Taligent, which was formed by Apple and IBM to continue that work. In 1992 he moved to CSI, where he is responsible for ensuring that all CSI technologies are appropriate and relevant to CSI's business and marketing strategies.
