ACM Student Computing ConferenceSixth Annual Student Computing Conference - Oct. 6-8, 2000
ACM@UIUC is holding its sixth annual student computing conference this year on Oct. 6-8th, 2000, at the Urbana-Champaign campus. Over 600 students and 45 corporate sponsors are expected to attend. Last year's conference was attended by over 500 students and 37 companies with Larry Tesler giving the keynote address.

Approximately 16 sessions (individual talks, panel discussions, and workshops) will encompass the past, present, and future of computing and cover a broad range of topics. Representatives from many companies will be attending this year's computing employment fair. Other events at this year's conference will include MechMania, an AI programming contest, and an exciting keynote address.

Plans for this year's conference are still being finalized. As more information is available, it will be added to this site. For more information about the conference, or to suggest a speaker, event, or to volunteer, contact conference@acm.uiuc.edu.
